😋 Muncher

Every level has one rule, written along the top. Every square on the grid either obeys it or it doesn't, and your job is to eat the ones that do.

Arrows to move, MUNCH to eat. On a computer it is the arrow keys or W A S D, and the space bar to eat. Hold an arrow down and you keep walking, which is how you get out of trouble in a hurry.

Moving onto a square is safe — nothing happens until you munch. So you can run right across the grid without eating a thing, and you often need to.

Eat a square that obeys the rule and it is 10 points. Eat one that doesn't and it costs you a life. So does letting a monster walk into you.

Clear every square that obeys the rule and the grid is done: 100 points, a new rule, and the monsters get a bit quicker. The squares that broke the rule can stay where they are — you never have to eat those.

The rule changes every level, and it is not always "make this number". Some levels ask for multiples, or primes, or squares, or everything except one answer — so read the top of the screen before you touch anything.
