You cannot drive the beetle.
Write down its trail, press GO, and watch it do exactly what you said.
how to play
Tap the instruction buttons to fill up the numbered slots, then press GO.
The beetle does them one at a time, starting at slot 1, and it has to eat
every mushroom.
Tapped the wrong one? Tap it again in its slot to take it back out.
REPEAT sends the beetle back to slot 1, so it does your whole list
over and over. That is the game: there are never enough slots to write the
whole path out, so you have to find the little bit that keeps happening.
If the beetle walks into a stone, or off the edge, that is a bump and
it stops. Nothing is lost — change the list and press GO again.
On a keyboard: 1 to 6 add an instruction, Backspace takes
the last one off, Enter is GO and Escape empties every slot.
The clock starts the moment you pick a pack and stops on the last mushroom
of the last level. Wrong tries cost you nothing but time.
