drop it in.

The strip under the decks is the game. The top row is the club's beats and the bottom row is yours. Get your ticks to sit under theirs.
Rows slipped sideways? Drag your record. Rows fanning apart as you look right? That is the SPEED, and no amount of shoving will hold it — so fix the speed first, every time.
You can hear the same thing: thump-click … thump--click. Get the click to disappear inside the thump.
The fat tick with green round it is the ONE — the loud thump at the start of the bar, and the only moment a DROP counts. On EASY the button waits for it by itself. Then the controls lock for eight beats while the room listens, and the worst moment is the one that counts.
A run of good mixes is worth more. The bar under the picture is the crowd's patience: it drains while you fiddle, a good mix tops it up, and when it empties they go home.
