Bump the other cars off the table. Hit them with your front โ and the more bits have fallen off your car, the further you fly.
Push the stick the way you want to go and your car turns to face that way and drives. Let go and it rolls to a stop, which is how you stop at the edge.
๐จ BOOST is a lunge. Your car swings straight round to where the stick is pointing and throws itself that way, and you cannot steer until it is over โ so save it for when somebody is nearly in front of you. The button is grey while it fills back up and lights up when it is ready; press it a moment early and it goes off the instant it can.
Catch somebody in the side or the back and they spin out, and a bit falls off their car. Nose to nose, you both just bounce. A car with bits missing is lighter to shove, so the longer a car has been in it, the easier it is to send off. Drive over a roll of sticky tape to put one bit back on.
Take a run at people. A poke from a standing start barely moves anybody; coming at them with your nose down from across the table pushes them a long way โ keep leaning on them and you can walk them right off.
If you do go over the edge you get a moment to hang on โ your wheels spin and the car tips, and driving back on saves you. It does not save you while somebody is still shoving you.
The best move in the game is to step aside when somebody BOOSTs at you near the edge โ they sail straight off.
If nothing has happened for a while, somebody bumps the table. An arrow shows which way everything is about to slide. Keep it up and the table does not settle at all โ it rumbles, and then staying on is down to you.
On your own, your score is how many cars you bumped off, and the run ends when you go off. Two players is the last car still on the table, first to three rounds โ nothing is saved. On a computer: player 1 drives with W A S D and boosts with the space bar, player 2 uses the arrow keys and M.
