It's Max's dinner time — get it in the bowls

SCORE 0 TIME 60 BONUS x1

Pull back from the tin and let go, like a catapult — pull further to throw further. You only get the first bit of the arc, not a cross on the bowl, so working out the pull is the game. Pull too hard and it sails over the top; too softly and it lands on the grass. On a computer the arrow keys aim and the space bar throws.

Max walks up and down the shelf — along one shelf, up to the next, back the other way, then down again. He always does the same thing, so you can work out where he is going to be. Throw to the bowls he is heading for, not the ones he has just left.

A biscuit only scores when Max eats it, and then it is worth whatever that bowl says. The bowls at the back are worth more because they are harder to hit. Land between two bowls and it clips the rim and rolls into the one in front, so a near miss usually still gets you something.

Every eight biscuits he eats puts your BONUS up a step — x2, x3, all the way to x5 — and the bonus multiplies everything. The BONUS pill fills up as you go, so you can see the next step coming.

You only hold five biscuits. You get one back each time Max eats one, so the better you feed him the faster you can throw.

⚠ïļ Mind the blue water bowls. A biscuit in one goes soggy: your bonus drops straight back to x1 and it costs you five seconds. They sit right next to the best bowls on purpose.
