Swipe, or press the arrow keys, and every tile on the board slides that way at once. Two tiles with the same number that bump into each other squash into one twice as big, and that is your score. A new tile turns up after every move, so the board keeps filling — it is over when nothing can move. Tip: pick one corner and keep your biggest tile in it.
