You have 1 minute 40 to steal as much of the morning traffic as
you can carry. Drag anywhere to fly the saucer — it flies just
above your finger so you can see it.
There is no button for the beam. It is always on, and it grabs
whatever is underneath — but only if it reaches the road. Fly too
high and you can watch the cone stop short in mid-air, with a dotted line
showing how far it fell short.
Fly low and the beam is short, narrow and twice as fast.
Fly high and it is wide and slow. Low is also exactly where the
helicopters are, and that is the whole game.
A 🛵 scooter is quick to lift and worth a little. A 🚌 bus
is worth six times as much, but it keeps you parked in one spot for six
seconds — which is plenty of time for somebody to find you.
Drift out of the beam and the whole lift is thrown away, so think
before you chase the next one.
An arrow at the side means a helicopter is coming. They throw
🚧 traffic cones, aimed at wherever you were when they let go — so
keep moving and they miss. Run out of shields and you go home.
⚡ ZAP sends a ring out from the saucer that folds every helicopter
near you into a paper aeroplane. It takes 20 seconds to charge, so
you get five in a go. The saucer's dome glows white when it is
ready.
Every shield you still have at the end is worth 50 points.
The road empties out as the go goes on — you have been stealing it —
so late on you have to go and find things instead of waiting for them. And
some helicopters stop parked in mid-air instead of flying past. A
parked one will not wander off on its own, so either work somewhere else or
spend a zap on it.
EASY gives you three shields and a quiet sky. NORMAL takes a
shield away, speeds the cones up and adds a helicopter. HARD throws
more than twice as many cones, puts two extra helicopters in your way,
leaves less on the road to grab, and parks some of them right from the
start. Each button keeps its own scores.
On a laptop: arrows or WASD to fly, Z or
space to zap.
