Three kingdoms, thirteen cities. Give three orders a turn, send your heroes out, and be the first to hold seven.

How to play ▾

An order is a march. Tap one of your cities, then a city next to it. If it is yours the soldiers walk there, and if not they attack it. One soldier always stays behind.

A card shows the sum before you press GO. Your side is the soldiers you send, plus the might of the hero who leads them. Their side is the soldiers in the city, plus the wits of their hero, plus the walls. The higher number wins, and a draw goes to the city.

Win and the city is yours. You lose as many soldiers as they had, but always keep one. Lose and the soldiers you sent are gone — but the city loses as many too, so a second march can finish it.

A beaten hero rides to a city of their own next door. If there is none, they change sides and join you. Each of the four grey cities has a hero with no way home.

Every city grows one soldier a season, and a capital (the gold star) two. A city holds 9 at most.

You win by holding 7 cities when your turn comes round — so the other two always get a turn to take one back. From season 11 you only need 6, and from season 15 only 5.

A game is kept if you leave half way. Win on your own against the two computers and your kingdom earns a seal for that level: nine to collect.
