🪘 DRUM KIT

92 BPM
🔗 Send this beat to somebody ▾

Your beat is inside this link. Copy it, send it, and whoever taps it gets exactly what you played.

Six drums. Bash them. Press ● REC and whatever you play goes round and round, so you can play something else on top of it.

How to play ▾

Hit the drums with your thumbs — two at once is fine, and a kick and a crash together is the most ordinary thing in drumming. On a computer the letters are Q W E along the top and A S D underneath.

● REC keeps whatever you play, so you can lay a beat down and then play over the top of it. SNAP tidies each hit onto the beat — turn it off and record something sloppy to hear what it was doing for you. CLEAR wipes it, and ▶ / ■ stops the loop without wiping it.

🔗 Send this beat writes your loop into a link. Whoever taps it hears exactly what you played — same hits, same speed, same kit. Nothing is saved anywhere: the beat is inside the link itself.

Max keeps time: his tail swings on the beat. CLICK does the same job out loud.

Three kits — the same six drums with different numbers. All of them are in kits.js, so change a number, refresh, and hear it.

If somebody in the crowd holds up a sign asking for a drum, play it and they will cheer. Nothing happens if you don't. Jimmy floats in to honk on the wrong beat — whack whichever drum he is hovering over and he goes away.
