The way the coach holds a pad tells you what to do.
The coach's pads tell you which punch to throw. Land as many as you can — and duck when a pad swings back at you.
The left pad takes your left glove and the right pad takes your right. Tap for a jab, swipe sideways for a hook, swipe up for an uppercut — with either glove. When both pads come up, hit both.
Every clean punch fills a block of FOCUS, and more focus makes your punches faster. A wrong punch, the wrong glove, or being too slow empties it.
When FOCUS is full, press WALLOP: both gloves at once, worth 10 punches. It uses up all your focus — but it knocks away a swing that is already coming.
ATP is your energy — it is what your muscles really burn. Each pad pays for one punch. Punching at nothing, or hitting a pad twice, costs a lot, and if you run right out your arms drop until it comes back.
A pad that pulls back and goes YELLOW is about to swing at you: swipe down to duck. One hit and you are out. A pad that pulls back but does not go yellow is a fake — stay up.
On a computer: your left glove is W A S D and your right glove is I J K L (S and K are the jabs). Space ducks, G or H is WALLOP, and Enter starts.
